Join Semmle's first User Group Meetup in San Francisco

February 19, 2019

Reading time

We are proud to announce our very first Semmle User Group will be in San Francisco on the Wednesday, 6th March (the week of RSA). We are excited that the product security team at Uber will be co-hosting the meetup at their San Francisco office.

Semmle User Group

We expect this will be the first of many more meetups to come, so let us know if you'd like to help host one near you. This will be a great chance to connect with users in the Semmle community, and discuss tips and tricks for writing QL queries, performing variant analysis, deploying and installing Semmle software (e.g. LGTM Enterprise, QL for Eclipse, etc…), integrating with developer workflows and security response workflows and more.

We'll be providing pizza and beer, and the format of the meetup will be somewhat casual, with:

  • Lightning Talks - Several short talks (10min) from Semmle users (including Uber & BlackLine)
  • Product Update - Brief update and Q&A with Bas van Schaik, our Head of Product
  • Networking - Time to mingle and discuss with fellow users and Semmle team
